MOD SQUAD & RED ONES: Let’s Talk!

  • It is time to prepare for the next stage of online sessions.

  • Earlier this year we conducted a successful pilot project.

  • Let’s discuss the next steps of this program.

The online group sessions we held earlier this year with home schooled participants were encouraging.

If you wish to  see what an online group session looks like you can view a video at:

NEXT STEPS:

It is time to plan the next steps.

STEP 1: Moderators. [MOD SQUAD]

It is time to find a group to moderate the online sessions.

This ‘Mod Squad’ can be from any age group. They can be youth, parents, or retirees.

We will set up online sessions with this group to discuss moderating online sessions.

STEP 2: Participants. [RED ONES]

Once the Mod Squad sets up online group sessions, we will need to find participants.

These participants will be known as the ‘Red Ones’.

If you google ‘red ones’ you will discover these are the ones known to go faster.

They have less drag, lower inertia, thus increasing forward momentum.

An example of this is found at: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RedOnesGoFaster

LET’S TALK!

Please let me know a time when we can connect.

We can use Google Hangouts and discuss your thoughts about the online group sessions.

Also, any thoughts on finding moderators and participants?

I look forward to communicating with you on this exciting project.

What are your thoughts about how group sessions can assist home schooling families?

You can add thoughts and suggestions in the comments section below.
